Chenango County Sheriff's Office 911 Center staff consists of 10 full time and 4 part time dispatchers. Dispatching is provided for The Sheriff's Deputies, Municipal Police Departments, Fire Departments and other Public Safety Agencies in Chenango County. The 911 Dispatch Center not only processes emergency calls, but also completes numerous activities in support of personnel, such as dispatching and monitoring primary and backup units, investigators, contacting and relaying pertinent information to the field, other agencies and businesses.

From November 1st to
April 1st, the Chenango County Communications Center provides
the public with a safe road report. The road report is a service to the community where citizens can call
in and get current and up to date weather conditions and road closures around Chenango County. This can be accessed
by calling (607)336-TOGO(8646), a community service brought to you by the Frontier Communications Community
Action Team and the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.
